Great idea, Chris.
I wonder how many parishes on the way would join in for a few miles? Could volunteers in the first parish / diocese start a correspondence chain a few weeks ahead inviting hikers to join you on the trail and inviting the next parish / diocese to keep the invitations going?
May God bless you, Chris,
